We as humans exist in two parts: mind and body REY (That's what I was told by a professor and I bought it). Physical performance verses Emotional betrayal. Which one is considered cheating? Cyber sex is it cheating?To begin with infertility is very vague and everyone has his/her own definition of it.
According to the research, men cheat more than women REY(Yes I said it, women cheat too. DUH!). Is it because men are pigs? Or because they have wandering eyes, their ýJohnsoný that they canýt keep inside their pants, uncontrollable hands, or the society made them that way? (Always blame it on others, it's human nature). The Playboy, Sport Illustrate, (and the list goes on) turn on the TV and all that can be seen is sex (Sex sells).
For women, they need a reason to cheat (Told by many female friends). For men, they need a place and a willing female do to the good deed (Told by many male friends). Basically, all they need is an opportunity. Even if they are happy in their relationship and life. Despite the calamitous consequences, people cheat. It remains one of the unsolved mysteries of life.People have wondered all their lives, but still no conclusive answer.
Anyone help me solve the mystery?

I think this is a case of blasphemous logic. I think I might have seen the same survey somewhere, and the numbers were staggeringly close.
Its not that women NEED a reason to cheat, they need to make up a reason to cheat. Thats the way women work, they need excuses to back up their instincts. Especially in cases that might be considered immoral or wrong.
Infact, its women that drive men to cheating. Yes, I said it. All men ask for is a warm meal after coming home from a hard day's work. Also your occasional cleanings and looking after the kids. NOW, if women can't provide their men with these necessities, maybe men have every right to cheat on them. Fellas, I saw a soft backhand on the face might do the trick. But be careful, make sure she's not the kind who goes to social services. Tell her you got more of where that came from if she even mentions social services.
Yes, when men cheat... they're pigs. But when women cheat, it was for a legitimate reason. I find it very hard to believe that men in a happy relationship would cheat if they had the opportunity. Infact, I can vouch for this being false. I, too, have many friends who have face similar situations, and they've chosen not to cheat on their SOs.
Basically what it boils down to is that men are actually honest about the reason they cheat, whereas women feel it necessariy to lie off their lying asses. Lying women, they lie a lot. Liars, all of 'em. Did I mention they were liars?

It is all about genes. Not cheating.
Every living organism survives beyond their life by spreading genes. More you spread more likely your offsprings will survive.
In case of female, they require only one partner at a time to create offspring (ie. spreading genes)
So women need reason to cheat, not by necessity, once she mate with a male that is enough for a period(untill she gives birth)
But males can spread their genes all they can. More the better - Naturally.
More partners that male can deliver his genes to, better chance his offsprings will survive.
So Men doesn't need reason to cheat, being a male is enough reason to go find means to spread his genes, even if he has to pay the cost.
example: just look at male spider, he gets eaten by female after sex, but still he goes for it. Just to spread his genes beyond his life.

Other than recognizing and awarding you with what a good sense of humor you have, could you please reveal to the rest of us the so-obvious secrecy behind why nepali women cheat on their nepali men? And please refrain from relinquishing any stereotypically-driven statements (i.e. women unable to attain orgasm, short men, unhygienic), as most of these are universal and apply to any nationality/heritage. If you can be more specific and/or pinpoint the known defects on their nepali heritage rather than physical appearance (since this varies quite a bit amongst the nepali men) it would be rather interesting.

Sex is the basic animal instint. Just like a new born puppy, with a brain the size of a peanut and its eyes closed, knows where to go to suck the milk from. (How do they know that if they put their mouth into their mother's breast and suck it, they'll feel satiated). Instinct is the answer my friend. Same instint drives a male to seek out female to pass on his genes. A female on the other hand, has to carry the baby and go through all the pains. So she waits until she finds the right, superior male to mate with, so that the pain will be worth it. Just like in animal world. Male lions fight each other to mate with the female lion. The superior wins and the female lion is impressed by his power and she accepts to mate with him. The male intstint tells them "Pass on ur genes , pass on ur genes" so they are constantly on the look out for females, and in this process, has to go through a lot of challenges. And females wait for that oppurtunity, that honor, to receive only the best.
So next time a guy sleeps with another lady, its not cheating HONEY, its our male instincts (can't help it)....

People do not cheat because they're pigs, sows, bitches, or dogs. It all comes down to two basic drives: the physical sexual drive and the emotional need. People usually cheat because there is a conflict between their physical and emotional desires. By accepting and understanding instead of ignoring them.so we can't just blame one. well for sure woman wants more time and attention.

That statement is quite hilarious, especially coming from you since you like pretending you've had all relational experiences at a young age of 15. Yes, some of us, who are much more experienced in the area and are a lot older than you, have no clue and don't understand. That was sarcasm, by the way. Do that teach that in middle school these days? Oh 15, you must be in High School. Wow, aren't you all grown up.
It has come to my knowledge that Nepali women like to lie about having had relationships. And please girls, online relationships don't count. Its obvious you pretend to have had a plethora of boyfriends just to boast your superiority on a message board. Its a well known fact that women love making other women jealous. And posting something like 'i have never found a good boyfriend or a meaningful relationship' does exactly that.
Back on topic.
The women are in control of what I like to call the sexual bottleneck. Men cannot live without sex, it is the #1 driving force. The only comparative force for women is the desire to reproduce and raise successful children (noted as by Freud in various psychological analyses). What I mean by this is that, assuming a man and a woman are moderately attractive and both are sexually capable, the man says "yes" under all circumstances; the woman says "no" under certain circumstances. This is true through the entire animal kingdom. The male proves worthiness of mating, and is rewarded with his #1 desire. The female decides if he is deserving. She is the sexual bottleneck. Hence, its the women that are driving men to cheating.
Now, I'd like all you ladies to go home, and cook and clean.

Right on the money when it comes to explaining in terms of evolution. Especially talking about the attractiveness part, I believe men and women just not concur due to attractiveness. what is attractiveness? Jus mere beauty? I doubt it. Beauty signifies health. Both sexes seek partners that are more likely to produce offsprings that are healthy. Rest Thaag has said it all. So, actually when you see a voluptuous woman walking by the street and u start fantasizing about her, trust me, sub consciously you are thinking about the Beautiful(healthy) children you are likely to produce :).
BTW Mussolini, talking about Freud, did u also read that he also did more than 20 years of research on answering one perplex question: What do women want Alas, the question is still pending today.
Nescient, talking about infidelity, of course environment, psychological, social and economic factors play a lot of role, but recently, some scientists have recognized a "gene" that is popularly known as infidel GENE :). So, we're all helpless.

Why is it that when a woman sleeps with multiple men, she is a slut, and when a man sleeps with multiple women he is "the man"? And please, since some of you guys want a serious conversation on this, do not post your meaningless explanation.
Anyway, one of the reasons I have seen why nepalese women cheat on men is because of the arrange marriage. Let me tell you, it is not only nepali women, a lot of, actually way more men cheat on their wives than wives on their husbands in Nepal.
Ok, since the marriage is arranged, in many cases there is no physical attraction between the man and the woman. In arrange marriage people don't marry out of love, which I know a lot of you will understand. In a stable love life, there are many attractions, physical or emotional between the partners that keep them together (there are some exceptions). When they start to have sex in love life before marriage, they also get an idea about if they are compatible. You can say whatever, but sex is a big thing in a relationship.
So in arrange marriage, some time down the line, the partners start to realise that they are not sexually attracted to each other or not compatible. And that there is no love between them. It is the need to raise a family however broken it may be, and the society that keeps them together, as divorce is seen as an evil in our society.
So now you have two young and healthy people sexually unsatisfied. So what are the options??? Well, since our society is a male dominant one, and that men are out working most of the times, or going places, they tend to cheat on their wives. Well, some wives do the same too when their men are away. But majority is done by men, and even if discovered it goes away swiftly without many people knowing about it or the wife keeping quite about it. But if it is discovered that the wife has been cheating then.... you all know the consequences. But you know what... since most of the times there is no love between wife and husband in arrange marriage, I guess none of them really care if their spouses cheat on them.
And I do believe that if your love is strong, and that you are satisfied in a relationship, and if you have a lot of respect for you partner, you will do whatever to refrain from cheating. I have known, many guys you have had chances to cheat but just opted not to. So like depends all upto you.

Self esteem boost as they are neglected by their partners and they look for emotional attachment.Women are romantic creatures (and emotional fools) so if a sweet,smooth talker guy comes she is swept off her feet.Then if her partnet is not exciting enough then she seeks excitment."honey let's have sex" and within 5 mins(even 5 mins is too much) it's over.What?Where?huh?Done??Like they say,Wham Bam Thank you mam!!And the wife or the partner is left wondering if she was a slut or his lover.Once the good deed is done the guy goes back to sleep.No cuddling no hugging nothing.Revenge is another one.Now there can be many kinds of revenge so let's not go into further details.And men take their ladies for granted.One more to add (as i am being bombarded with so many reasons inside my head) men mistake their ladies for a maid or a child creating machine.

Hmmmmmm finally a thread that keeps me thinking. Why do people cheat??????????
I guess its because people are not satisfied (emotionally or physically) with their partner: hence the cheating factor.
Another reason can be: they want some adventure coz they are bored.
Am I making any sense or am I totally off the track :-)

I know its so easy to negate science and search for alternative answers, but those in science can really delve deep and provide simple answers to those confused,convoluted and puzzled about their cheating ;). Interestingly its been shown that women cheat more than men :)

One thing I've learned from watching "Sex and the City" is that all women are sluts, and that show was a very accurate representation of real life.
Those 4 women in the show could never stick with a man? Why? Because they never cooked or cleaned for their men.
Bottomline: Women need to stay home and cook. Let men do the real work and bring income to the family. Women need to embrace this traditional idea rather than aruguing against it.

We always want more...if you are given NIne dollars and Ten dollars, which one would you pick? NIne or TEN :)....
cheating, beating, getting rich then richer, all of our wants and WANTING MORE THAN WHAT WE HAVE...these all MAKES US MORE HUMAN....
We cheat on exams, We cheat on homeworks, we try to cheat Costumers, We try to cheat ourselves, so ofcourse we cant only KEEP RealtionshipS unkown TO cheating,,,... We need to Cheat there too, my fren :)
so yess..answer is simple,,, We are HUman, we CAN cheat, so we cheat...u r just making it complicated then it is.....
and plz dont make only MEn ur Focus..personally, i have seen more women cheating their patner than men...but i try not to generalize....

NEscient....cheating is a form of "guiltiness", and you only feel guilty when you have convinced ur self that you have done WRONG!!....Example: Hitler never felt he was guilty, coz he never thought he had done anything wrong...
so ur question, "physical performance verses Emotional betrayal"
if i will tell you, physical performance is not cheating, its just having fun....now there is very high chance, you will say, physical performance is Cheating!!..if thats what you beilive in, then why do u raise a question??
Common, man or woman! no one can answer you whats cheating?? you have a diff. defination for cheating and i have diff. .. if you really want an answer to this mystery, because some how u done have power to judge whats right and wrong, then u need to ask the person, who has been leading you in life...and that only that person will convince you...
so yah if do a Cyber Sex and you feel guitly to ur self then its cheating...

Whoa, whoa, whoa Chubby Cheeks.
Having an opinion on this topic is one thing, but making bogus claims such as saying "Sex and the City" was just a TV show and is irrelevant comparing it to real life situation is just plain CRAZY.
That show is life in a nutshell. It was a very accurate representation of life, as I said earlier. The depiction of real life is astounding.
Another show that comes to mind is "Saved by the Bell". I have been modelling my life after Zach Morris. Another show that hits it home.

One thing I've learned from watching "Sex and the City" is that all women are sluts, and that show was a very accurate representation of real life.
