This week's featured wedding at Boston.com has the bride wearing a sari. And, no she is not Indian. She appears to be caucasian. However, the interesting part is that she is wearing a white sari. White is the choice of color for brides here of course, but as we all know, white is also the color for widows where Saris come from. I just thought all this was a little interesting. Maybe the causasians have hindu descendants maybe they don't, maybe they have fantasies with saarees maybe they don't...WHO the heck cares? REALLY. It'd be more interesting if they were married bare naked if ye ask me. hehe |
