I was going through the history of various Miss Nepal choosen in the past. They really don't stand a chance with the crowd developed by women from spain, India, Venezuela etc. That thick nose and pale white skin does not provide a good contrast. Infact the new Miss Nepal USA looks like a PALE WHITE BHOOTNI OR RAKSASNI. Please do not mid my comment but please have a good look at her. A sweet suggestion to the nepalese community that "a Chink face never WINS A CROWN"

what do you exactly mean by the term "this is a sattire" as it really doesn't make any sense to me.

you know, actually major miss nepals have all flopped as people haven't supported them enough. almost everyone in nepal criticizes events like miss nepal but they are also the same people who would happily like to see the mega event (if they get a free ticket that is). it is actually their criticisms that is hampering the prestige the title should bear. that is why we happen to see better miss nepals off stage walking in newroad rather than on the stage that day as "girls from good family" would harldly be interested to take part. hence, i feel, we should at least respect those who have dared to contest. why isn't nepal developing quickly? it is beacuse we are ourselves interested too much in pulling the legs of the ones who've reached higher instead of concentrating on joining them at high places with our own efforts.

there's zero support for miss nepal. even a miss nepal has vanished disowning her title. not that nepal doesn't have pretty girls. there are lots. but nepalis will rather watch a miss india live on TV than care about miss nepal. somehow no matter what we say on this bulletin board, 90% nepalis would rather watch an aishwarya rai than a karishma manandhar. things will never change unless there's BIG money on nepali movies, modeling etc. BIG money means respect and a better lifestyle. only then will it draw the cream of the crowd. and looking at the mass poverty and small market for domestic movies etc, it's unlikely things will change ever.
