Cable Car Co. comes down heavily on VDC Chairman KOL Report KATHMANDU, Aug 27 – Nepal's first and only cable car company, which has temporarily closed down it's operations after a group led by Namuna VDC Chairman vandalized its local office, came down heavily on Monday upon the VDC Chairman accusing him of trying to fulfill his personal interests. ---- The vandalism culture developed by ANNFSU (now ANNISU) is now a modern culture in Nepal to force others to bring on your side and make things favorable to you. The VDC chair man learned all these things from the ongoing culture developed by ASCOL hostel residents. Now, the VDC chairman is extorting 500,000 rupees annually, and like all other politicians he also don't think of clearing A/C. Everyone from Maoists to Politicians from opposition to ruling everyone is interested in grabbing money, and govt. is just watching the vandalism and giving signals to others also that you can do anything you like because govt. can not stop you. You just have to tell that its for PEOPLE. What makes me wondered is that the police is not working, and all politicians want committees to investigate what has happened there, probably. In other countries when a vandalism whether political or non-political occures, the case is studied or handled by police and cases are filed in courts, but, in Nepal politicians create committees for all kinds of crimes, the recent trend shows, and all these silly politicians become the JUDGES who know nothing about law of the state. I bet hardly 1% MP might have read the constitution of Nepal from top to bottom and hardly 10% have gross idea about constitution, forget about the bulky books of laws. Too many lawyers, too many judges, without any formal education & practice in laws. Where are we heading?
