Hi Scarlet, Namita, Sachit et al, I understand from my friends in Kathmandu that you guys should get in touch straight with Rajaram Dhakal, the young Nepali lawyer campaigning for the freedom of imprisoned Nepali children, at his office ko email address: inhured@gopal.mos.com.np Rajaram ko boss Gopal Siwakoti Chintan is a noted activist, and he too may be able to help you with your efforts. Hope this info is useful for your meeting in Watertown. Let me know if I can assist you guys further. Best wishes, and I appreciate your desire to do something about this social evil of imprisoning children in Nepal ko jails. BTW, on another note, as far as this Web site goes, maybe GBNC should stand for: Glo Bal Nepali Community. Just a thought. oohi ashu paris, france

Someone posting under the name of Rakesh Gurung wrote: >oohi.... >I think you are a self deluded egotistical >megalomaniac(an observation, not an opinion), Dear Tamu brother, Many thanks for that mouthful of compliments. I am impressed by your big vocabulary. Anyway, being a die-hard movie fan, may I recommend my all-time-favorite movie Apocalypse Now for your viewing pleasure? Maybe you can sharpen your "observation" by seeing the true nature of self-delusion, megalomania and egotism in Marlon Brando ko unforgettable characterization of Colonel Kurtz. The horror . . . the horror!! As Jim Morrison sings, "This is the end . . . my brand new friend . .." > but this abbreviation is not such a bad >idea.... Thank you. On another note, Subhachintak-ji, many thanks for your kind words. I appreciate them. I post my ideas here so as to seek better ideas from people out there, and, in the process, I have learnt much from these Web interactions and have made many many friends. I like to post stuff here because: a) I enjoy posting stuff to share info and ideas; and, b) I like to keep on learning new things all the time. oohi ashu paris, france

what is your problem ...paris and Tamu? Why shouldn't anybody write wherever they are from or are not from? If you really did not care as you want us to believe then why even bother to write and vent your anger because certain Ashu wrote Paris, France. For your peace of mind maybe he is not there but just wrote it to get the best of you. HA Ha he succeded! Eat your heart out! So much jealousy and so much anger. I am surprised you are not already burnt with your jealousy before you scribbled this nonsense here. So let Ashu or whoever writes from whereever they choose to write from. If you like you can also write some exotic address as I am doing it now. Yours truly a non-bahun, Rio de Janero Brazil Note: next week I will be in Firenze that is Florence, for you non-traveller.

Yo Bahuniparis, what's your problem dude? or female dude or chicken dude may be? sounds like you are not a bahun and also have no respect for whoever you are. As soon as a guy says geneva or scotland or paris people like you lousy jealous creatures vomit your venom. why the hell do you care if someone posts from paris or pakopokhaldyang? where are you? have your even been to paris or geneva? if you are in boston then you may have been to couple of nations in your way here from Nepal. People like you are no better than Maoists. You love to initiate racial conflict. if the conflict really gets going then you won't be spared either. Criticize the material presented by the poster not the poster him/herself. now, you may ask who am I to tell you what to do? you are old and mature enough to know what to do and what to write. sure, you have demonstrated that with excellence, haven't you?

kATHMANDU !!! What is your problem ? this has nothing to do with you. Did you see your name there ? NOPE, so Buzzz off. Y'know when there is an accident, or a fight of som sort on the streets of KTM, you would see all these people standing around watching tha tamasa. This is what this reminds me of. I am doing exactly waht you are doing. So why don't you just shut the hell up.

KATHMANDU must be bahun !! I guess it sorta hit home there. It all depends upon what your definition of jealousy is(Clinton quote) ? I never even met this guy to be jelous of. And yes I have been to places but you wouldn't see me boasting about it. That only Baaajes do that.

Tamu and you are a good representation of a breed of Nepal which I always find disgusting. Splash this site with more and more sh..t and enjoy splashing. good luck. You khates stink! BIG TIME! KL

so tell us yoh paris! Enlighten us where have you been? Please share your stories (then we will be tell if it is a fake one). You did not answer other question. "if you did not care why would you even mention?" You are jealous he went to Harvard and you did not and he is going to see Europe but I doubt it you have. Except the airport, maybe unless you came from a boat. Or maybe you are one of those "boat people." Or are you? So I say live and let live. Post something if you have some interesting news to share not go after one person who you claim you have never met. Again it would be appreciated if you add some educational/fun/titbits around the world/your observation of society at large anything really but not personal attack.. See you have so many subjects to choose from? Why don't you concentrate on those things. WE have a lighter side, a leterature side and comments side. How come you seem to be devoid of ideas except of course your attack on one person (Ashu). So think about it and please don't show your lack of creativity/knowledge/ideas by posting personal attacks. Annoynimity of the cyberspace has given you a lot of freedom, use it wisely. It is just a small window of your personality. Are you this intolerant and abusive in real life too? Or are you the nicest guy when somebody could see your face? Maybe a Dr. Hyde and Mr. Jackall. Or something like that. I am the same Tamu, but I had a change of heart.

Now now, Karma ! Seems like your' talking out of your ba-hind. If you don't know what the hell you're talking about...then shut up. Talking about being a Saint, here is a good example- Don't know Raxaul but certainly know how to use that noun to insult others. Oh yeah I won't sttop to that level(loiters in Biswojyoti) and call all those names ohhH now way(Napunsak). You're no better than people u are complaining about. SOO SHUT UP.

Manche, I really wish I could clear the clouds of doubt from your mind and heart by giving the pleasure to your eyes and prove what makes me a non-napumsak but that still may not solve the issue that I am concerned with. Beleive me, I am not a saint. Never wanted to be. So, keep your saint word to yourself or atleast do not direct at me. My concern is why should we base our talk on caste. Why the hell people attack kathmandu for his genuine remarks. He is right. We shouldn't care whether poster decides to putdown where he/she is posting his/her comments from. We should be paying attention to the content of the posting. If R. K. Thapa posts a material from Paris then should we starting bashing all chhetris? if R. K. Shrestha posts a news from London then should we chase shrestha guy with all Newar name calling? what do we get by doing that? If someone gets satisfaction by throwing dirt on somebody just because he/she is different then I have no words, really, for such ignorant. Remember, we are in a foreign country, how do we feel if we face regular bashing from the american people even when are just minding our own business just because we look different. It's really shame that we consider ourselves as bahun, chhetri, newar, tharu, magar..and son on before we consider ourselves as nepali humans.

Dear defenders, Thank you for your defense, and your good sense. It is refreshing to know that there are good people out there. In this space, you know and you must have seen again and again that I have been attacked so frequently that, hey, even I am getting quite bored. Though attackers use different names, it is clear to me from their postings, that it is ALWAYS the same old two -- by now, well-known -- Somer-Villains whose sole purpose of living on this planet is to see Ashutosh Tiwari destroyed. (You all remember how they had hijacked my emails and posted them here ... see what I have to live with A touristic hint: If you want to see emotional fireworks in Boston, just ask that GIS technician what he thinks of me, and you will be rewarded with a foaming mouth, limb-shaking shiver and lips that close and open, gasping for air -- like that of a goldfish. (He will blow up on this site if I make any reference to genetics, so I won't.) His will be a performance not to be missed. Still, having nothing to fear, I defend these two punks' freedom to attack Ashutosh Tiwari. Let them. Hey, I am what I am, and that is that. My self-esteem, self-confidence and self-worth are not measured by what these people say/post against me. So all I can do is wish them well. After all, if and when I finally go against them in public (with well-researched and well-documented family histories in hand), that will be the end of their sniveling attacks. But hey why be nasty, right Until then, let the bastards play, oh, pardon my French. oohi ashu paris, france -- this true geographic info has been here to expressly drive the two louts crazy.

oooOOOhhhHHH ! poor you, always being attacked, I wonder why ? People are not that stupid to attack for no apparent reason. You must have done something to them. Did you intelectually bully them(with your trans world vocabulary powers maybe) ? Or did you physically abuse them like NYPD(with a plunger) ? Snifle snifle "PEOPLE CAN WE GET ALONG." and why go after the families ? Its got nothing to do with them.

Enjoy France, my dear new friend. -Signed Tamu, Rakesh Gurung and B..Paris have you read any good book lately? > poor you, always being attacked, I >wonder why ? People are not that stupid to >attack for no apparent reason. You must have >done something to them. I am afraid you misread me. Maybe I was not being clear. I was NOT complaining about being attacked. Being attacked is a fact of life in cyberspace. That is why you do not see many people posting in their own names here. But all things being equal, those of us who post in our own names are more likely to be attacked than those who do not. But posting stuff here and elsewhere, I have learnt to say -- clearly and simply -- what I think, and live with the consequences. I have also learnt to develop a thick skin and have learnt to rely more on a sense of humor. That said, I was complaining that the attacks were/are so identifiably regular -- like a piston pumping -- that it was getting quite boring. I mean, if you want to attack Ashutosh Tiwari, at least be entertaining so that we can all share a good laugh. It pains me to imagine my attackers as humorless dweebs. Did you >intelectually bully them(with your trans >world vocabulary powers maybe) ? You must have noticed that I believe in writing with simplicity, clarity and energy and NOT with some "trans world vocabulary powers". l Or did you >physically abuse them like NYPD(with a >plunger) ? No. Snifle snifle "PEOPLE CAN WE >GET ALONG." and why go after the families ? >Its got nothing to do with them. Having people who attack you for all the sins in the world is a fact of PUBLIC life, whether that life exists online or offline. Because I take full responsibility for all ly postings, I too have a public life in this space. And so, I have learnt not to like surprises. That is why, I like to be ready for every possible outcomes, and I have learnt that having more information/knowledge than one's opponents always helps. That said, I have also learnt not to underestimate the attackers. They are smart in a twisted sort of way, and I must thank them for reading and re-reading my postings the way Egyptologists study ancient parchments. Glad to be sharing the lessons I have learnt over the years. oohi ashu

Just having fun in Paris, visiting friends I knew from Boston, New York and Nepal, though today I am just taking a break.
