The hoax message includes one of the following "warnings": Dear All, For your reference, take necessary precautions. If you receive an email with a file called California, do not open the file. Before you panic, it is a good idea to check if it is a hoax. The following two sites have info on hoaxes (hoax => pl. hoaces): http://vil.mcafee.com/hoax.asp? http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html Stop wasting your time.. and others too...

As soon as I checked the virus in our department, I found that it was really a hoax. Biswo.
