Guess what? maybe this whole strike was masterminded by Gary Condit to take the public's mind off his case. Maybe the evidence was creeping in to criminate him so he decided to hire some arab thugs to do this to get his case off the limelight...

Bush is pretty determined to do it right. he's supposed to have said, 'We are not going to fire a 20 million dollar missile on a 10 dollar tent and hit a camel's ass' Bush is a cool guy. Not as cool as Clinton though. I wonder how Clinton would have dealth with this differently.

Maoist's have been going down on the popularity charts as Maoist activists have used their influence in wrongdoing such as raping a 10 yr old girl who was by relation a 'niece'. Way to go (down that is).

How can the champions of freedom the US strike on innocent people of Afganistan or whichever country they are going to strike at? How does that make the US any different from the terrorist who did the terrible act in NYC? Maybe there's some other way to make the terrorists pay without having to kill innocent people? How about killing off the politicians who gave Bin Laden refuge in their country? War is stupid. Why don't they train and deploy an extensive SWAT team that they send to countries with terrorists and KILL 'EM ALL? GOD probably did not intend us human being to destroy the world as it is, this war has the capacity to destroy the world as we know it. What if some NUCLEAR Bomb goes off? Who's to guarantee that the world will remain intact after this so called war as declared by BUSH the second??

King Gyanendra is slowly bringing Paras, his son to limelight as shown in the http://www.kantipuronline.com picture. Maybe it's a little too early to try to appease the Nepalese citizens but c'mon you can't blame a father for loving his son. I'm surprised to see Paras without his dark glasses though.
Looking at the picture, I wonder why Nepalese people are so ready to please anyone who seems to be better off than them? Maybe the 'chamcha' genes are pretty dominant in the Nepali race.
Another point, do you really think the King and Paras, and for that matter the Nepalese politicians personally like to wear Daura Suruwal?? I kinda doubt it.
By the way, do you also see some money on the King's feet? Why would anyone need to put money on the King's feet?? Doesn't he have enough already? Well, I guess money is something you can never get enough of.

Does anyone in Nepal even care what's happening out there? People are so much into following buddhism and hinduism which tells them everything is OK. This is all just a MAYA (illusion). Nothing really matters (Metallica also got this one from our religion). No wonder everything is going downhill in Nepal. Religion does play a major role in a country's well being.. Take muslim countries for example... Maybe Christianity is better for capitalism and development.

Namita vs the rest of the world was the basic theme for today it seems. What does this Namita look like? I'm sure the rest of the observers here would love to see. Why don't she post a picture to go along with her personal info section? Well, that will be something to look forward to.

While George bush is polishing his missiles, Clinton has been sighted polishing his Cuban Cigars. As a side note, Alian Gonzales' father and Fidel Castro had presented Clinton with the Cigar box that will probably last him at least a dozen more interns. Mark my words, these cigars will play a much bigger role in history than any number of missiles George bush decides to ride on. What is it with George Bushes? The first Bush had the issue with goddam saddam while the new little bush is also having serious conflict with that part of the world. Maybe it is hereditary.
It's hard not to wait impatiently to see what happens next as this saga unfolds. That's the beauty of the US. In Nepal, after the Royal Saga, everybody knew that NOTHING was gonna happen because a handful of people hold too much power and they are pretty much untouchables. But in the US, we know somethings gonna happen, but just don't know what or when.
My pledge to the US, please don't kill innocent people. But practically speaking, I know it's pretty impossible. War against terrorism is pretty big. It' s like proclaiming a war against drugs. If the US can't even win the war against drugs in its own land, how can it win the war against terrorists in other countries? It's better to tighen up security and make sure nothing like this ever happens again.
Normally terrorists claim their involvement in any terrorist attacks, to make themselves more feared. But this time, the terrorists are cowards, they fear the backlash. They don't have the courage to own upto their actions. Down with these anonymous terrorists.
So what else is new? Boeing is cutting 30,000 jobs following Continental Airlines which cut off 16,000 jobs few days back. September 11, 2001 has changed the future of Commercial Aviation for ever. And for many people the pink slip will be the reminder of the tragic day, for many others the loss off the loved ones yet sadder reminder. It will take major rebuilding of the economy to reach stable grounds.
This teaches us how unpredictable life on earth is. It took about 8 to 10 people aboard those 2 planes to trample upon the economic stability of the most powerful nation in the world.
The most tragic thing about the incident is the loved ones left behind to mourn for a long time. Some probably will never heal. Imagine being one of the victims in that crash.
- IN THE PLANE: Imagine being in the doomed plane. You knew something bad was about to happen that included the possibility of dying. I'm some some of them could see the plane approaching the WTC building. You could sort of imagine the intense crash and the intense explosion and the intense heat that destroys you immediately - the immense heat that will turn you and your bones into ashes at first contact.
- IN THE FLOORS THAT WERE HIT DIRECTLY: Imagine looking out the window of your office with a first morning coffee in your hand and seeing a plane far away - just another day at work. You look again and the plane is coming closer, and before you can make sense out of what's happening, it's too late. The plane's gonna hit you no matter what. What would anyone be thinking then?
- IN THE FLOORS ABOVE THE HIT: You're on the 90'th floor or above, you're looking down. All you see is smoke. the Elevators don't work. You start feeling the warmth as the heat propagates up the building. You know you are doomed because there's no way you're going to survive that. At the most you are going to live until the fire burns you to death or the concrete walls that you used to decorate with your family picture comes down upon you and crushes you to death. You have two options, either you wait till you start burning or start getting crushed, or you can jump off the window and let the ground hit you. The picture of people crowded around the windows, not knowing what to do, not having any choice but to die... Many jumped off to meet death while many stayed there to brace death. A man and woman were seen to have jumped off hand in hand.
- ON THE GROUND: Lot of bystanders, tourists were engulfed by the massive debry from the falling WTC buildings. Firefighters and police officers who woke up that morning for 'another' day at work, never made it back to see another day. Some three hundred thousand Tonnes of debry, chaos and mayhem that changed the face of New York, and the life of thousands.
May GOD give bless their soul, and give strength to the families of the victims, and show the right direction to the US soldiers in order to serve their country battle the faceless terrorists.
