Hi all,

I was busy yesterday with other commitments, and on coming back here today,
I see that I have been a target of fair amount of attacks here.

That is fine.

I expect that to happen now and in the future.
After all, attackers too need a motive to drive up the number
of hits (pun intended!) here.

I say that because, on balance, hey, I have learnt to look at the positive, optimistic side of things.

On one note, I am heartened/delighted/pleased and impressed that even my anonymous -- have you noticed always, always anonymous -- attackers are spending their time reading and re-reading my thoughts and then sharing their colorful opinions about me with the rest of the world.

That is good.

On another note, I assure many readers and cyber-friends (who are free to agree and disagree with my thoughts anytime) not to be too concerned about these anonymous attacks.

I mean, would anybody seriously believe a bitter attacker who PRESUMABLY
is so ashamed of his own name that EVIDENTLY sees more value in posting
under the name of "asstosh"?

From a marketing point of view, this reminds me of China-made shampoo on sale in Kathmandu's department stores that brand itself as "Haed & Sohlders".
See what I mean?

On a serious note, though, this forum, thankfully, there IS room for these silly anonymous attacks just as there is room for brilliant or stupid voices like mine.

And that, my dear friends, whether we like it or not, is what democracy is all about, and I have no problem fully accepting that and having fun with it.

Talking of fun, I had a lot of fun taking apart -- that is, with counter-arguments that people may agree or disagree with -- Namita's muddled thoughts, WITHOUT attacking her personally.

Though who insist --again anonymously, of course! -- on saying that attacks on her ideas are EQUAL to attacks on her person are welcome to remain
misguided.

So, the lessons:

Be yourself though good times and bad times.
Be confident.
Have a sense of humor.
Drive your anonymous attackers crazy.
And have fun making this site the number one destination for thoughtful Nepalis all over.

Hi Ashu:

I like your postings. You make me think.

You sometimes remind me of Jean Jacque Rosseau. Both of you are good writers suffering from persecution complex. His "Confession" has to be one of the greatest books of all time - certainly one of my personal favorites. I am sure you have read this mother of autobiography.

I see markings of a great English writer in you. I suggest that you channelize your energy properly. No offense meant, sir.

calling someone's thoughts muddled is obviously not a personal attack!! I guess it falls in the same catagory as posting someone's family details and calling it democracy!! I sometimes wonder if my left side knows what my right side is doing :)

AssHu!
You freakin' hypocrite. Its okey for you do do and say anything. When other do it to you its an attack . Grow up... Be a man. And all that bulshit you talk about posting under your own name..... thats bullshit too(Ram Babu). You are so full of yourself its f*cking unbelievable. Your fucking thoughts are the greatest in the world, the rest of us have muddled thoughts. You are a coward, going after other people's families. cannot handle your own(or don't have the Balls). All your friends have abandoned you(high school), the only friends you have are the ones you don't really know you for who you are. Using friends, their families and their children to make you look good ...what a f*cking shame. I guess you still have not forgiven Namita for writing that poem about you. This just shows that poem does hold water otherwise you would not be after her. You look like one of those guys who checks his own ass in the mirror and says to himself OH WHAT A MAGNIFICENT MAN I AM ......GET OVERIT A**HOLE.
