If you are eligible to vote in the US elections, vote for Ralph Nader. Why? Because if you vote for lesser of two evil, you still end up with evil... If you want to make a difference in the country, vote for Nader..

Hi Diwas:

I have fully supported Nader, the consumer right
pioneer. But as the election drew near, voting him
has clearly been associated with some attendant undesired byproducts, and such possible byproduct is
making this option less and less charming.

I am trying to understand whether handing over power
to an oil tycoon or tycoon-mollycoddled-brat is a
good decision for environmentalist! I am still
wondering what we will get after providing him with
five or ten percentage vote that we don't have now?

I believe that Nader candidacy already riveted public
attention, and sympathy of Gore supporters is alredy
with him.An extra target of five percentage or ten
percentage, if that is for federal money, is just an
hubris-infected underestimation(irony!).He can raise
more than that , and if he steps down now, more and
more people will respect him as a true statesman!!A
vote in government office doesn't mean anything for
a public right crusader.

So let's endorse Gore, eventhough he is not a perfect
person.We need to compromise sometime.

I think Nadar is a great, inspirational
guy.

I fondly remember going to, with Mabi Singh,
hear him speak last year at Harvard Law
School.

Nadar -- a graduate of Princeton and Harvard
Law (the law school he never fails to criticize
in strongest terms!) -- then, in his trademark
tone, scolded big corporations for duping the
American public for this long.

That said, Nadar is best at what he
best: Consumer activism.

In this, he has inspired millions of people
worldwide. As -- whether one likes it or not --
as markets replace state in providing goods and services in many countries, the world can use
100s of Ralph Nadars.
