People have been debating here about real name posters versus anonymous posters. In my opinion, as long as the topic of posting is general and educational, both these types of posters have same value. But, as soon as people start waging personal wars using anonymous names, then they fall short on the credibility scale.
As soon as you bring up personal issues, then you need to have the balls to use your real name. Instead of 'firing from the bushes' as someone so aptly put it. Then, "the more 'real-name' people here, the merrier it will get in terms of diversity of thoughts and regardless of how strongly some of us agree or disagree with those thoughts".
Then, the disagreements or personal differences can be solved easier, since two or more people are let's say 'face to face'. I'm sure the anonymous posters who post personal stuff here will point out that I am anonymous as well. But, the gist of the matter lies in the fact that I don't hold any personal differences with anyone and I'm not out to get anyone like some of these anonymous posters are.
So, posters like Asstoss and Concerned who seem to have personal agenda against Ashu, need to have the guts to come out of their hiding and have the courage to face their opponent, and have a fair war instead of the loser tactics they are choosing right now. Otherwise they are just sore losers who don't have an iota of self worth.

I have no respect for the anonymous posters who indulge in anti-individual campaigns either. Do you not have any self respect that you choose to hide behind anonynous names and 'shoot from the bushes'?? Please get a life will you?

Just by your saying 'i don't hold any personal differences with anyone' does not prove you dont' actually don't hold any personal differences. you could very well be ashutosh's paid shubhachinak, or ashu himself.
The whole issue of writing with their own name is ludcrious. it is not a little chapagaon village where everybody knows everybody whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, i don't know but you have a sense of knowing the person. This is cyberspace where thousands of visitors come and go. why do you want to know who this person is. do you want to run a background check like Asstoss suggested? What are you going to do after you have the name of the posters? Savour it? hang it around your neck? WHAT??? OR DO YOU WANT TO JAP THEIR NAME WHEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE? OH MY NAME IS NOT SHOVA. SO WHAT DOES THAT PROVE? DO YOU GET IT?
Post responsible postings, that is what that matters. If Ashu is the master of character assassination POSTING IN HIS OWN NAME what does that say? If some "concerned" shows concern of ashu's tirage against somebody then what's wrong with that? This "concern" could be, ale, ghale, male, kirti, biswo,hari,ramita, shova - anybody. Arugument. Issues. Character assassination. Dishing. not-dishing. These, my friend, are the present issues. don't get yourself involved with the non issue , i.e. own name or non own name. That should be of no concern of yours.
One more time: talk about the issue, not names nor pets, not if you are dating or not dating. These should be no concern of you a no-name anonymous. Everybody is anonymous here. Get that through your head.

besides you don't even know who you are dealing with half the time anyways so who cares. name or no name its the content which is more important.

Thank you all for opening my eyes.
I was wrong. People should post with or without their real name. Just look at me. I am following my own suggestion. I was such a hypocrite posting with this name and asking people to reveal their own name. I am ashamed.

Cyberspace is meant to be an info ground not a battle ground for anonymous losers.
