1.Federal Reserve cut rate half point interest rate today to keep economy falling intorecession. The interest right now has been the lowest in 40 years and this was the 9th rate cut since January this year. -- Fed is trying hard to boost the US economy
2. Akhilesh Upadhyay wrote that Nepalis living in the US may be in danger from racist assaults since Nepalis look like Arabs and Afghanistanis, who were in target after the terrorist attacts. Iin some people in the US believe that people of such race are supporting Osama Bin Laden. -- Our suggestion to Nepalis living in the US get a clean shave, groom and dress Western.
3.Taranath Ranabhat, Speaker of the House of Representatives said that Maoists may come to mainstream politics after the terrorist attacts in the US. -- It is about time for Maoist to get their act together.
4. . India' external affair minister Jaswant Singh said that there is a division in the world:
a. Those who stand for democracy, freedom and basic human values.

5. Nepal to receive $19.6 million from Asian Development Bank to enhance teacher training program for primary schools. -- I hope people will use money for the education instead of personal benefit.
