Koseli Nite- "Symbol Of unity of all Nepalese living in Texas"

On the eve of September 11th 2001, America declared it as "The Darkest day in American History", whereas on the other hand they successfully conveyed the brightest message to the rest of the world saying,"We are Proud to be Americans. The victims, survivors, emergency crew and investigating personnel are in our thoughts and prayers. We stand united with all Americans to do whatever we can to support each other and assist those in need."

Similarly on the eve of September 22nd 2001, All the nepalese in Texas got together under the same roof of peace, friendship and harmony telling the rest of the world, "We (all Nepalese) are here to support the New York, Washington and Pitsburgh victims".

HEN (Health and Education For Nepal- A non profit organization) presented a cultural night called, "Koseli Nite, which is a symbol of Unity among all Nepalese living in Texas." says Dhiren Gurung, Vice-President of HEN. "It really was a huge success. In the last four months,We have work very hard and finally we pull this out successfully. Hard work pays off at the end.", says Sarendra Narkami, Director of Koseli Nite. Mr Nakarmi is also serving as secretary of HEN. This non-profit organization feels very fortunate to have such a dynamic leader like Mr. Steve Macgreen. Mr Bisal Ghale who is serving as treasure for HEN says,"I know, I will be busy working on my financial report" and added, " the Success behind this cultural program was team work - Artists, volunteers and organizers did their best to pull this program - A GRAND SUCCESS and also made it a memoralbe one".

Originally it was a fund raise program to build DevBhumi health Post in Kabre Palanchok district but after the Twin tower tragic, Mr. Macgreen and other Board members decided to send some of the funds they have raised to American Red Cross society for New York victims as well.
