I feel that being a Disc jockey in a nepali Society is............. I am kinda skeptical about it so can some one drop in a few words to boost my interest in this field......

Definitely, it's a good thing....
I think it would be great to have a Nepali DJ out in the music scene right now. There is so much potential. We have such a rich culture and there are many avenues for creativity.
So many DJ's are sampling from South Asian music these days, often they are persons who have no understanding of the form or lyrics. It would be refreshing to see someone out there who could create music while maintaining the essence of the original pieces.

Does anybody know any good DJs in Nepal? Or where I can get hold of some good mixes by Nepalese with Nepalese flavor dropped in.

Hi everyone!!
Not just a DJ but even an actress,model a singer is not considered a nice gal in Nepal ;which is very sad in a way.I am a DJ /RJ,A Model/myself but not just from Nepal,I was DJ/RJ in Nepal for 4 years.I realized that in Nepal,the way people treated me(not all),despite that, we got to do what we got to do right?I am strong and I will encourage those who wants to be DJ?RJ or model as well.One life to live,do what you can before your parents get you married-off!!

I am here in America now attending College for Degree in Computer Science.I really miss Nepal and would love to go there some day,may be next year on Christmas(As I promised Steve Cabb).I am still a DJ here but not on the Radio, but I do some mixes for a Radio Station(Zee 95.7 FM).I do mobile DJ here(private shows,weddings ,proms....)which pays well than 9 to 5 job.I will complete my masters then I will come to Nepal to get married(5 years from now).I would like to thank all the listerners of "DANCE ZONE' for my success,I would never have done without them,I owe that to them.To be success in life you have to dream dream and dream then convert into reality; and I have confidence in you more than you do.Nothing is impossible in life,the value of a goal is not in the attainment of that goal,but rather in the striving for it.Just do it!!
