His unconditional service to our society earns him respect and admiration from Nepalese people which is priceless. He balances equally well between school (Working on his degree at University of Texas at Arlington) and work makes him a mature and responsible individual. (B) What others think of him? "I have been blessed to know such an outstanding individual Like Baikuntha. He has always been there for me in my thick and thin. There's no hanky panky about this guy. No wonder he has a million friends. Now time has come for that million to show their support for his candidacy for the President of Nepal Society, Texas. Let's give him what he rightfully deserves and take this society to a new and better direction. Please show up for the Voting Day and show your support. Here's how you can support. Sarendra Nakarmi ~~~~~~~~~~ Dear friends, I'm not writing this just to make Mr. Baikuntha Thapa look good. I'm writing this because Mr. Baikuntha has heart of gold and I've known him since almost ten years. I met him at Corsicana, where I was new comer and alone. He was there when I needed. Since then he was always there when he was needed for good time and bad time. He was there not only for me he was there for everyone. He is friend of friends and foes. That was a tiny part of his friendship side. His other side is being a good leader. I've seen him as a good leader as well several times. He demonstrated this ability at Atlanta. I don't think his interpersonal skills need to be elaborated. Truth speaks for himself. Oh! one more thing. I've never seen his anger or fraustration took over his judgement and ability to perform most difficult tasks. So long friends. An admirer Sanjay Rajbhandari ~~~~~~~~~~ I know Baikuntha for more than five years now. Met him when he was in Corsicana going to school. A lot of Nepalese students went to Navarro College in Corsicana when I was graduating from University of Central Oklahoma back in 1996. I had a chance to find out how Baikuntha was building his dignity at the same time when he was a student. Thapa seemed very friendly to everyone as friends hung around this fellow. After I moved to Texas, I had a better glance at his positive attitude and involvement socially. He is humble as he tries to make everyone happy. His willingness to go an extra mile for the betterment of our community was one reason that I wanted Thapa in my team (executive committee) when I was elected President of Nepalese Society Texas, Inc. For the last two years we have had chance to work together. His contribution when we had to do something comes in the front line. His understanding of how to go about doing things is definitely a treasure to the society. Baikuntha’s perseverance and diligence are assets to the community. With his positive perception, I know for sure that Thapa will provide a great continuation to NST’s social goals. Baikuntha Thapa’s commitment and will to make a difference in Nepalese community went one step further when he filed his application for Presidency of Nepalese Society Texas, Inc. I do have utmost confidence in Thapa to be a leader of our society. Sudeep Raj Sharma (C) What are his goals? He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the quality of his actions and the integrity of his intent. This is what we have found in Baikuntha Thapa.
