Many MPs fear going home, thanks to Maoists The Home Ministry and its branches at respective districts manage security for MPs, according to Pandey. "The Ministry is ready to provide security if any MP informs the Home Ministry about his programme," Pandey told The Kathmandu Post. He said that not a single MP this year approached to the Ministry asking for security. ---- The first part of the title did not attract me to read the article, but, 2nd part asked me to read why "thanks to Maoists"? After reading the whole article, I realized that its MASALA by writer to make the article look smelly, RYAL CHUHAUNE GARI, because in a country where peoples are afraid to return home, I thought the writer must have found something worth, that Maoists have allowed peoples to return without fear, and thats why "thanks to Maoists" was in title. Anyway, I thank to writer for his ability make it SARCASTICALLY readable news. GP

Dear GPji: "Thanks to" also means "because of , due to". So it is not unusual to write that way. That is not the appreciation. You can confirm this by referring to our dear (official of GBNC site) dictionary in web: www.dictionary.com

I learned "Thanks to", thanks to Biswo ji. Thank you Biswo ji. I did not know the meaning. I was surprised with the meaning. I am not sure how many Nepali readers will be mistakenly interpret the way I did. If I was alone to take straight meaning without knowing the real meaning, I feel sorry for the misinterpretation. Jai hos GBNC ko: I learned one more new word. GP

Constitutionally, we have the right to move FREELY from one place to another in Nepal. But in practical terms, we cannor really do that. Isn't that ironic? oohi ashu ktm, nepal
