I think Gbnc should have a norm of who can and cannot post their business ventures here. If people want to promoto their business for profit, Gbnc should get a cut on that. I have seen quite a bit of phone card romotions on the classified section of this site. This is different from people who are moving or looking for room-mates. And I have seen them recycling their ads over and over again. I feel that these people are getting free advertising. Gbnc should charge them.

Good idea to generate funds for GBNC functions. If it is feasible, the side administrator can redesign the classified section. Every classified article should come through the side administrator. If it is for business, then the advertisers pay in advance before coming to the thread. The disadvantage is - i. you cann't reply to a thread either, ii. it takes a little extra time for an ad to appear and also takes the time of site administrator. But it is of less importance as many replies here are not a real reply to the ad but making fun of the advertisers. If the advertiser gives full detail of contact address and other relevant information one way traffic of information is fine. However, GBNC needs clear set of norms which is a business ad and which is not. See how it works!

Is Gbnc going to let people exploit this site for free or they are going to do something about it. I just saw another self promotion of Some dj trying to promote her professional PA system here. This is free advertisement. Gbnc as broke as they are should be getting some sort of an income from these successful people pushing their products here. Is anybody there ?? or everyone(GBNC committee) is still operating on Nepal time

Here we go again. Handful of nepali enterpraneurs who are at least begining to do something on their own instead of working for others and we can't stand their success. Hang on, if these people become successful you might benifit by getting a job with them.

I Am sorry but not at someone else's expense. If you want put an ad out in the Gbnc news letter and pay them, fine. Don't use them for free for your profit.

I guess Gbnc gives its members the silent treatment whenever it is on the hot seat. Gbnc loses its voice and goes mute when confronted with issues. Its just like Nepal, some things never change I GUESS.

I think people in GBNC don't have time to indulge in trivial subjects. However it seems to have a lot of importance just for you. Didn't someone just post a joke about nepali frogs :)

Are you in the GBNC committee ? Was I addressing the coments to you ? NOOOO. But you had to br Mr smarty Pants know et all. Typical, like in ratna park... had to go checkit out didn't you ? This is not some chatak you're watching in ratna park MORON.
GBNC is allways bitching about shortage of money. But there are oppertunities out there. But They do not want to bust their ass where there is possibility of revenue. How can you run an organiozation with a half assed attitude like that ? Money is not going to come walking to you, you gotta work for it.
