We are in a position to offer significant cost advantage to companies in the US who are willing to outsource their back-office operations to Nepal. We have over 100 specialists trained for the past 15 months in medical transcription, with adequate production and satellite connectiviy facilities in house. Can anyone give me some names and addresses of their contacts in US companies who can take advantage of this offer? We can discuss business terms with you as the lead you provide progresses.

Alokji, It is true that Medical Transcription business could be one of the possibilities of IT industry in Nepal to get into business. We have significant cost advantage in terms of wages and time difference. The difference in the wage level is un-imaginable. However, I am sceptical about the quality of services and and continuity of the contracts. I was curious about what happened to Himalyan Infosys and what caused that? What are those trained specialists or technicians doing at present? I wish you success in your venture, but I just think this forum may not be suitable for you to advertise. Gandhi

Gandhi ji, We have customers in the US currently who are satisfied with our quality, and references will be provided upon request. Himalayan Infotech folded up because of reasons other than poor quality. Most of their employees are now employed by leading MT companies in India. I am using this forum to see if anyone is willing to help a Nepalese company get some marketing ideas and leads. We are bent on making this work, and setting an example so that a host of other Nepalese companies can follow suit. Perhaps one day Nepal can become another Bangalore, if not another Silicon Valley. Alok.
