Some of you idiots can be baised against folks of Indian origin (like myself). But don't forget, for many of you - your ancestors migrated from Bharat. Bahuns, Chettris, Newars, - all their ancestors came from India. Here are some sur names, that are pretty common in India:
Sharma, Acharya, Singh, Shrestha, Pradhan, Rijal, Thapa, Rai, Shah, Aryal, Rajbhandari, Bhandari, Yadav, Chaturvedi, Tripathi, Bansal, etc, etc.
THEREFORE YOU ARE INDIANS??? IS THERE A LOGIC?

not shrestha dude. no way. unless the nepalis shrestha have gone there to setlle dude. no way. shresthas are pure nepalis.

Rajbhandari, Rai , Aryal, Rijal are not in India either .. I met few Kulshrestha in India, but not Shrestha. Miss World and film actress Aishwarya Rai does have "Rai" last name, but she is racially far apart from Nepalese Rai.
Who said Newar came from India?
Yadav, Chaturvedi, Tripathi, Bansal etc. are Bihari names .. Just like Agrawal a Rajsthani name.

I will answer you that when I face you... ma India re ? Ma 100000 % Nepali and I am proud of it. I am from Himalayas. I forgive you this time no more mistake next time ok !! I can understand you love Neapli so much but you dont have to relate us with Indians !! Dude !! learn about the culture and origin before you open your mouth. We are Nepalese ... One Nation ,One People One Nepal !!

it seems so insane to have a bunch of responsible people being indulged in such an unproductive medieval issue. I dont think it makes any sense to claim that people in Nepal originated from Nepal itself. If you see the history you will see how aryan, caucasaian or mangol migrated in different part of the globe. So its fruitless to have discuusion like this and claim that there would be no shrestha in India or any country that speaks sanskrit derived language. It wont be surprising even if u see a shrestha in Thailand. So far as nepal is concerned, Only Chaudari are the indogenous tribe of this country who have been immune to malaria and been settleed in the vitri and madhesh even before bahun chhetri migrated from India. I think if we are Nepali by heart, thats enough. I think in a soccer match between India and Nepal if a bahun or chhetri supports India he is an Indian no matter what citizenship certificate he carries. Likewise if a yadav or agrawal supports nepal, he is pakka nepali, his heart is nepali.Hamlai nepali mutu chhahinchha
