This is probably a stupid thing that i am going to do right now. But anyhow...
I have to admit that for the past hour and a half I have been scanning Kurakani's various threads in order to decipher a couple of things. Not beign a terribly technically oriented person, I am not even sure what I found out after my obsessive perusal of all the id numbers of the posters tells me anything at all.
It started with some idiot writing something stupid directed to me or rather my online persona in one of the threads. Okay it was an interesting and engaging series of discussion that had remained respectful and genuine throughout. That is till some kook came up with that little quib which totally irked me and made me want to really find out what kind of person would do such a thing and why.
I realize the nature of the internet and especially online discussion rooms are such that faceless personalities can disagree and go at each other without real social consequences. People are supposed to be equal and a free, unencumbered forum such as this, you would think, would inspire people to be genuine in their search for knowledge or some sort of a connection that is meaningful and positive.
And everytine I see people being stupid, rude and gross in these sorts of cyber spaces, I am interested to find out who these people are... I mean not "who they are?" in terms of mother father and jat and gotra, but really what motivates these people. What is goign on in their heads? what makes them do the kind of totally unaccountable, hatredfilled, petty, divisive and hideos things.
Well anyhow, going back to story of my more than an hour long investigation in the various threads, what I can tell you is that there is a person who participates in this site who is just having a time of their life posting all sorts of posts that have incited a great deal of heated discussions... these topics have usually had to do with sex, nepali girls or nepali guys. And because this person posts at times under a common Indian surname, folks who have foudn his post to be offensive have made very derogatory and racially charged remarks.
Anyhow, I have not figured out if this guy is for real, is one single person or or where he(they) is(are) based or whether this is even a guy or a girl, because this particular person(s) has posted under a variety of different names and from many different ports at various times often even coming back in a particularly stupid post and making a disclaimer sayign " that was not me who said that."
As I check out the various Id numbers and it became apparent that there was a consistency in which a few numbers reoccured either related to a particular name, or theme, and style of posts, I thought, "this is guy is having fun". But then as I checked out what this guy was doing in all the various posts, I have to say i was terrible disturbed because this poster is not only making stupic adolescent sexual jokes and getting his/her jolly off that way, but really seem to be positing a very negative environement in the entire forum by posting various posts under different names, each post someone relating to some time racially divisive, derogatory to a particular gender, race or somehow just trying to incite people.
Anyhow, who am I to say some sick f**k can't get his/her jolly's off being irresponsibel and rude and dumb and immature and juvenile. I even understand how that works and why people do such things. But I have to say I just don't get peopel so full of hatred (yes, hatred and not just adolescent mischief) that they want ot always get people riled and creat a very negative environment. I am not excusing individuals who buckle and fall for this guys tactics either. But really it is a sad and sad person who would do such a thing.
who know if all this makes a whit of sense to the reader... but I needed to share that and let it be known to that particular poster 9s)... someone is on to you.

Well, there is little doubt that there are some losers on this message board. I have seen a trend of what appears to be sheer jealousy of those who seem to have an articulate way of making their points. It seems like some people do not appreciate others making a good serious argument for whatever the topic of discussion may be. It's almost as if these people think, " Look at this guy/girl who is going off being all articulate and argumentative. He/she must really be into themselves. Let me post something really offensive against this person so I can attract more people into my little discussions about sex, dating, and perversions." But this is just part of life I suppose. There are some interesting discussions that we can all choose from, and I for one praise anyone from our community who contributes thoughtful posts to this increasingly fun site.
