On a related note, it is well worth noting that our late relatively more liberal King Birendra took courses from Huntington on American political systems.

That was when the late King Birendra was a student in Cambridge, Mass. in
the late 1960s -- living on that dorm called Quincy House on Mt. Auburn

Well, the book might have an important thesis, and it might serve a purpose to Islamic fundamentalist, but the argument proposed by Huntington does not hold. I do not see Sino-Islamic alliance against the West. I als do not see West vs. the rest. Maybe it is more like the Islam vs. the rest, as the fundamentalist would like to have it. But how many of us are going to buy that?
