... beggars would be kings. With all of our good intentions limited to just the discussion in this forum, are we just trying to comfort ourselves by being glib, because, let's face it, we've proved our inadequacy to make things happen ? Action speaks louder than words. But we build all these castles in the air, whether it be to resue Nepal from its plight or to protect illegal immigrants' right to fair pay et al... To what end? And I haven't heard of anything happenning? Maybe I am out of the loop! And yet we are quick to point to others gread deeds start from an idea... I am with the posting of Michael when he says 'Dream on" (though I like it better the way Aerosmith sings it), though it offended the Nepali "hubris"... Maybe it is in our genetic build... But worse than that, it might be giving hope to all these people and all the time we were just trying to stimulate our intellect.

precisely why I think it's time we took matters into our own hands and actually did something about things instead of just bitching about it (see my input under "Dilemma")!

hey sometimes words are greater than actions. Discussion serve as a tool to make up mind on certain topic. 100 brains speaks out on 1 brain thoughts. 1 brain will altogether see a new dimensional of thinking. Don't u think we are so egoist, we don't see anything wrong with our ideas or thinking, we always think single headedly, we always think we are right!!! don't u think we need to guide ourselves whether we are wrong or right?? that's the time when discussion board comes out handy
