I know all of us hold certain views about Nepal, some shared others different. For those who are living abroad, how do you view Nepal in light of your new experience and environment? Do you see Nepal in a different light than when you were there? Those foreigners who have experienced Nepal first hand, what do you think of it? Do you think it is a "basket case"?

I am pretty sure that the only reason I love Nepal is because it is my country of origin. But then again, that is reason enough. I believe in my Nepali brethren, and know for a fact that given the opportunity, the motivated amongst us all can succeed all expectations.

Being Nepal a developing country, and its just started have
"Bame sarne" equivalent developments, its probably a great
time for the current generations to put their name in the
history of Nepal. In Developed countries, where enough is
already done, the publics most of the time ask what
are they doing: eating, riding car, sleeping, and having
a kid (s?) at the most. They can not do anything significant,
and are surprised to find the big room of doing something
in developing countries. Why not you too find your room
in Nepal? Well, you make some money, and return to
Nepal, I am sure you will find your at the center of peoples
who will be expecting something from you. That something
can be small to really very big things. Its real. One very
small, example can be going to village taking picture of
people' family with very nominal profit. You just roam
one village to another, people will welcome you, but,
you have to be genuine, and should not cheat by giving
false promises. (I have given you just a very cheap
investment, to make feel yourself great).

Lets not forget the Columbus egg.

I think Nepal needs a lot of help, both domestic and from abroad.
