jayaraj acharya deserves accolade for this site, good job. I am very skeptical about translated stuff. A good translator should have a devkota heart and brain and an eloquence in english language.. a pundit who understands a nepali tongue and percieve the hidden meaning. Devkota's major works are not as simple and understandable as muna madan. i just happened to see the following verse Dirty hands and golden plates— What can you do with wealth? Better to eat greens and nettles With a happy heart. Devkota in his nepali verse compares the wealth with the dirt of hand that u should not have to regret when u loose it, but the english translation has completely ignored the analogy. Or i dint understand it , would any body enlighten me on what gives a person an authenticity to translate someone else work, or every tom ...can do it?
