STOP THE MADNESS! Please folks restrain yourselves and stop the mean, vile, petty bickering. It is terribly juvenile and a complete waste of time and energy. Let's talk about something else. I respect your thoughts, opinions and humor when it is not directed at deriding each other and doing the kuwa ko bhyaguta business. Someone has to be the first one to stop, so who is it going to be?

As a visitor here, I see NO reason to stop any of our discussions on anything. In an OPEN democracy like this where there is NO monopoly by anyone for each is free to post as much as one wants, it is entirely possible to have vigorous discussions that allows room for dissent and disagreements WITHOUT, WITHOUT and WITHOUT: a) using expletives and profanities. b) exploding with self-righteous anger c) calling one another names such as "bigray ko radio" and other such colorful stuff and thus assuming a high and mighty pose, d) and, equating one's "bai.chaarik" opponent with "dogs" to gain a few cheap laughs, and so on and on. If we Nepalis haven't had the time to learn these basics of public discourse, then, this site can be an excellent resource to help us learn such stuff from one another. Cheap tricks on the Web, after all, are NEVER sustainable. oohi "committed to vigorous public discussions" ashu ktm, nepal

I am actually enjoying this exchange (without trying to rile either side of course). Most of the time this is an eloquent exchange of verbal sparring. I don't think either side has used profanity, so it is still palatable. It seems to be that if these two met (Ashu and NK), there would be civility. I think :). We can't just exchange deep thoughts all the time. Or we can do it in a funny cantankerous manner! Let's just not jump in and start hurling insults and profanity at NK or Ashu. That has been a problem I can see.
