Hi all, Thanks for all your thoughts, attacks and public snickering! I appreciate your thinking/writing obsessively about me. That said, if you thought that because of these silly attacks I would actually STOP posting Nepal-related and idea-related information, news and views as clearly, as passionately and as energetically here as I can, well, think again. Democracy, they say, requires eternal vigilance, and the only way for evil to triumph in Nepal and in Nepali communities is for good/decent people to stand around and to do nothing (or preach abstract values without putting themselves in the line of fire.) For better or worse, I am here. I am involved. I give a damn to public discourse. And I am NOT fazed by these attacks. Deal with it. Meantime, this info is from Girish Kharel, a small-hydro consultant in Kathmandu. oohi ashu ktm, nepal ************ Dear Friends, ICIMOD is conducting an E-conference on renewable energy technologies for Mountain areas.
