Hello Nepali and American Friends,
I just arrived in US and I am right now in NY, Queens.
I met a couple of Nepali friends I knew from Nepal and they told me to stay in east coast. I was actually planning to study in California. They say that once I am here I can change school to any place I want. I am confused. Should I continue my journey to California or start looking for school somewhere in East Coast. I also heard that Nepali people in California are more helpful than here and that the girls here is more stuck up or 'bhau khojne'. Please advice me friends...thanks.

bro,

since you asked for advice, take my word for it...the west is the best! go west, young man! btw, i've lived, studied, and worked on both coasts, so i speak from experience. let me put it another way, i notice that a lot of east coasters move out west; west coasters moving east seems to be rarer. in fact, when i moved out east (only for work, believe me!) and told east coasters that i had left the west coast, they looked at me like i was crazy and said "are you crazy?!" if you don't trust me, trust the east coast locals. ask them where, if they had a choice and must choose, they would live--east or west coast.
