Oh, God. The news from Salleri is really terrible. Hundreds of Nepali died there last night. Please read the report in Kantipuronline.com below. There is no point in blaming the constitutaional political parties. The government didn't initiated attacks. The government wanted peace till the last moment. I remember reading about Korea war. The Chinese invaded one of the impregnable defense of tanks and machines guns of America and S Korea just with the sheer number of people fighting against the allied force. A lot of Chinese died, but they won that war.Maoists tactics sounds same. But in Salleri, at least it seems, the army valiantly stopped them. Kudos. Kudos to those who survived. As someone said, the victorious people in the war time are those who survive. Survive at any cost. Only if they survive can they revive their life, and live to tell their posterity how they survived. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hundreds of rebels feared dead in Solukhumbu clash KOL Report KATHMANDU, Nov 26 – Reports are coming of a massive fighting between the Maoist rebels and army and police in remote Solukhumbu district which is thought to have left hundreds of Maoist cadres dead.
