One of the most deplorable actions in metaphor world is comparing Hitler's actions to that of somebody else's. The next is talking favorably about Nazis, and the next one is comparing an organization to Gestapo.Especially in today's world. This is mostly done by those people who seem to be ignorant about the deeds of Hitler and his cohorts.People seems to have forgotten so quick that Hitler was an ultimate devil, his actions epitomized the extent of non-humanism and his existence in itself remained the symbol of evil incarnation. It is in this perspective, when somebody compared Janet Reno to Hitler in last year's Elian saga in Miami that I told him: don't underestimate the plight of those Jews who had to fled their native land, don't underestimate the death of those old men and children who had to be killed in concentration camp just because they were born Jewish. Again in this perspective ,when one communist friend of mine told me about the selective layoff of communist sympathizers in civil service of Nepal by the then Girija government after the unsuccessful and wrong strike(harital) in 2048,comparing those actions to that of Hitler, I said that he was wrong. The plight Jews sufferred were incomparably higher than those people.Girija P Koirala might have been too hard and vindictive in his actions, but he was not against humanity and also not a Hitler. We might have witnessed mini-Hitlers in Indira Gandhi, Mao, Polpot ,Idi Amin, Bokasa, Duvelier, Milasevic,Marcos,Saddam,Mccarthy, Stalin(who ironically was himself a great antiHitler), and the traits of Hitler might have been reflected in several of current leaders of this world, but what Hitler did was an ultimate of monstery. Let's keep Hitler in his position, let's scorn Nazis and Gestapo because they deserve this. They shouldn't be quoted any where as paragon. That's how we learn from history.
