A few days back, there were lots of postings from some of the regular visitors of this site saying they would not hesitate to rule under maoist government. I wonder how they had predicted the failure of the army and had strong oppose to the idea of being helped by other countries for ending the insurgency. I don't know if all that we have been forced to accept as the news these days (specially, the figures of the rebels killed during the operation of the army) are real or not, but I do have faith that the our army is strong enough to wipe out a bunch of these senseless losers forever. Just in case the army loses, is it not wise to seek foreign assistance against these so called terrorist than to be ruled by them recalling the brutality that they have shown for the last 5 years? I say it is nothing more than a short-sighted patriotism to show the will of the acceptance of maoists' rule in Nepal rather than to accept international assistance to fight against them.Don't let patriotic emotions cost us our identity in 15 years from now. Wake up ! You are in United States, think like an american and let your brain explore life in Nepal in a decade from now under the rule of Maoists. And to those in Nepal, it is even high time that they see their future and make decisions at the present. With the "apparent" success of the army, this discussion may have less weight in it, but I am still willing to share thoughts with those who would rather be ruled by maoists than to be helped. WOULD YOU REALLY PREFER MAOISTS TO RULE NEPAL THAN TO BE HELPED ?
