More on Mr Rana from the above link: ......(a) I am satisfied that the complainant(Mr. Rana) suffers from a disability within the meaning of s.4(1) of the Act, in that he suffers from an obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and exhibits symptoms of anxiety and depression. ......The applicant in these proceedings, Mr Rana, lodged a complaint under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) ("the Act") against the Nepal Australia Friendship Association ("NAFA"). At the core of Mr Rana's complaint was his desire to attain membership of NAFA. It was his case that his application for membership had been unreasonably refused because of a disability that had been imputed to him. The nature of the alleged disability need not be investigated. It is sufficient to observe that Mr Rana had, or might have had, a psychiatric condition I wonder if Rana is posting as Bista because of his dispute with Bista... I think all the more reasons GBNC needs to have users verified and logged in before they can post to this site.

I think Mr. Rana and Ashu Tiwari had a heated exchange a few years back in http://www.nepalhorizons.com I am a jurist and provide you this opinion: 1. Mr. Rana claimed openly to a Mr. Bernard Scluter (who had suffered beatings by Nepalese people at Gulbhanjyang etc) that he also had sueffred in Nepal at the hands of Father Moran of Saint Xavier's School. Out of a sudden Ashu Tiwari attacked Mr. Rana as a "khatamzoor/gireko manche etc." Mr. Tiwari wanted to protect St. Xavier's and Godavari Alumini Association. It has been established in another case of Mr. Rana and the Commonwealth of Australia that Mr. Rana had to leave the Army as his past sexual abuse made him suffer from a "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and elements of a personality disorder." He was compensated for having aggravation of stress brought upon by his service with the Australian Army and Queensland Police Special Branch etc.... He received over US$600000. Now he has recovered from the traumas and fully rehabilitated after extensive treatment provided from the Australian Government. Mr. Rana created Nepal Australia Friendship Association and made Bista president of it etc. The fall out was that Mr. Rana refused a loan to Bista for opening his Sagarmatha Nepali Restaurant. Mr. Bista went openly calling Mr. Rana a 'Pagal manche' etc. Mr. Bista behaved in a typical Nepali conservative way to stigmatise Mr. Rana in the Nepalese society....thus Mr. Rana's action before the Human Rights Australia. There are three judgements that can be glanced in http://www.austlii.edu.au etc. Mr. Rana fought in the higher courts all the way up to the High Court of Australia.... He lost the case in legal mmot points as the Human Rights legislation is soft and does not provide any relief to the sufferers of disability. Australian law is about twenty years behind USA. US law in civil rights is very comprehensive and prescriptive. Further, the judges and civil servants at Human Rights Australia do not seek to be involved proactively in the fracas and kudos of exotic communities like the Nepalese marginalised and small community etc. However, Mr. Rana was very successful to take restarining orders against all the members of the Nepalese community in not to molest, harass, threaten or communicate with him. The gun license of Mr. Bista and other members were revoked as they were found to be unfit person with dysfunctional and irrational behaviour. Mr. Rana took the legal argument all by himself. Even Human Rights Australia paid Mr. Rana monetary compensation in loosing legal case. Mr. Rana has successfully got a Doctorate in International Business Administration. Has his own consulting business. A beautiful wife and lovely children etc.... End of story. Jiwan Tuladhar QC Barrister Nagarin Chamber

Jiwanji! What is wrong and infamous about the alleged Rana, if he can express and have a free opinion? We like his pedantic and pedgogical way of colourful expressions. They are rational having breadth and depth. You are just jealous about it are you not? Dragging cases that is so old and trying to put suspicion on people are very childish do'nt you think so? I know you very well being a former STX member and a favourite student.
