I was also a student of STX between 1960 and 1969. I became favourite of Father Moran. He used to take me into his room. He used to sexually fondle me. Other times he used to take me to ride in the school horse called Francis, and then near the grave yards on the back of the school, he used to penetrate my anus. This happened for many years.
I felt powerless, betrayed,frustrated, suffered nightmares,sucidal etc.
I can understand the suffering of Sonam.
I told my parents but they would not believe me.
It took me to come out in the open, when I reached the age of 43.
I am a survivor and want to help others.
Should the government of Nepal not nationalise the school and pay monetary compensation for the victims of the sexual abuse? Why can't Nepal not protect its own children?

Do you have some sort of support group? I think it would be wonderful if you all (who are not in denial) get together somehow and form a support group. You see there are a lot of naysayers and shout it down with ,"show us the proof!" but, I, for one don't have a doubt that these things occurred.
My sympathy.
Also I would like to say, atrocities happens - as it is happening in so many parts of the world I am speaking now. Some are fortunate enough not to be at the receiving end and some are not. We *do* have to go on, like you seem to have done. My respects. We as a society should help out the victims to heal (somehow, somewhat) and make them function normally. It is difficult and in some case it may not happen, but let's find a solution. Or,let's, at least listen to their plight.

The email from Prithibi Pandey is FAKE.
1. He does not spell his name that way (Prithivi, instead).
2. His email address is not correct.
3. He is not the Managing Director of Himalayan Bank. He never was. He was the executive director. If he was the person writing the email, he would never make such a mistake.
4. He has not been associated with the bank as in executive capacity for quite a few months!

Siwalik, so do I. I am just wondering why all these people are posting all of a sudden under different topics/ threads. I don't know, maybe I need to be less skeptical. I am not a non-believer however. Just skeptical about just how much of it is true.

This PRITHIBI BAHADUR PANDEY could serve a great purpose in the Internet. With his ability to connect Internet postings to their supposed human authors, we should be looking at fewer anonymous postings... in the near future...

With fake messages like that written under the name of Prithibi Bahadur Pandey, I am forced to believe that most of the people here are trying to just defame others. I wish we become more responsible. Come on, as sk said , how could Prithibi write his same position and place of work incorrectly. I definitely is not in HImalayan Bank as an Executive Director.

I wish we become more responsible. Come on, as sk said , how could Prithibi write his name, position and place of work incorrectly. He definitely is not in HImalayan Bank as an Executive Director now.
