Let us discuss this very important ethical and economic issue. Is GBNC bad for the productivity of the workforce that frequents this site? That's probably a no brainer if you are accessing the site from work. But is it OK? Would you be listening to an obese female colleague embellishing on her baby's behavior if you weren't appearing to be busy chatting with other GBNC users? Or maybe it makes us more efficient so we can allot some time to read the stuff in here?

I think it is affecting my work -bad! I need to go to a 13 step or 12 whatever- program to cure me from this addiction. This board is bad, bad, bad.

NK, what you need is a job like mine, where you're too busy to see this board most of the time and then you get paid to do nothing during winter and summer breaks (gloat gloat gloat). Uh-oh, I hope my boss doesn't see this ... I'm not sure "do nothing during breaks" is part of my job description ...
