Pretty interesting poll on CNN and surprisingly almost evenly split. Wondering what this community thinks about it.

Definately not.You can't judge the relegion by the act of its followers. It really depends what the followers are following. cuz lot of time, the followers are doing lot of things in the name of the relegion, that the relegion dosen't talk about.I won't agree if someone says whatever happened to babari masjid was taught to the hindu's by hinduism, i think that whatever al queada defining as Jihad is far from being similar to the Jihad the kuran defines. What about the christians going around the world and telling peoples to be christian and that they will benifit by taking them to america or whatever(i'm sure you got the idea). >>I don't think any religion talks about killing innocent peoples. >>I don't think any religion talks about destroying any temples or mosques or churches. The problem is the religious leaders and "some" followers modify the real meaning and sometimes somethings that don't even exist and try to market it in innocent peoples mind. And yes, i was also surprised looking at the poll.I think the result of stereotyping resulted from these so called Jihadis.

There is not a such religion which is not Dangerous. All religions are Dangerous. It is Dangerous because it wants to conquer whole Earth. In the process of conquering others, it destroys the 'uniqueness' of Nature so brings the chaos. The religion which has not been seen as Dangerous today will be more Danagerous tomorrow. Religions will always bring chaos as long as there are followers. Followers are just carbon copies, and a carbon copy is always uglier. First, religion should be realized without notion of socalled GOD. Second, the followingness should be taken out from a Religion. Then, it becomes very individual matter, Religiousness or Godliness which is a love to the 'whole'. Then, the word 'Religion' will be meaningful as it is. The word "Religion" is derived from the Greek word "Religio" which means putting things together: putting Mind, Body, and Spirit together; a very individual matter for which Earth should not be conqured.

Yes, all religions should be judged by the acts of their followers THROUGHT THE HISTORY. It will turn out that all recognized religions are more or less similarly evil. A perfectly good religion is yet to be found. Perhaps HUMANITY is one, but it remains to be called a religion.
