Tsk, tsk, BP, you miss the point. It’s all about cultivating and developing the camaraderie with like-minded (judging from the conversations and exchange of postings I’ve had) folks in Boston, the skiing is just an additional bonus.

Yeah totally, everyone knows that Boston is where the cool people hang out! Most other places you have to pay a toll to get in the city. In Boston, you have to show your 'cool pass' before you can enter. :-) Boston rocks the house! I've lived in the Mid-West, South, all along the East Coast, and so far...Boston is the most awesome place to live!! I luv this place!! The perfect balance of culture, educated people, music, lack of crime, lack of bad smells and all the goodness that comes from a modern city!!!

While in school, I was surrounded by the diversity that a school ususally provides. But once I started working I realized that Boston is very monochromatic . Go to one of those cool hang outs like RattleSnake and Mercury Bar and you'll know what I mean.
I visited west coast couple of times and found it to be very diverse in comparision. Yes, I actually saw plenty of non-whites on the ski slopes.

boston is one of the coolest cities in america/world.....besides massachusetts is #5 healthiest state in the US....its a hub of intellects
