I think the Nepali people and the distributors should grow up. If they do not want to do that they should start producing worthwhile movies. But I guess you cannot do that unless you grow up. Someone help us out of our Catch-22.
No K3G in Nepal
Rumours that superstar Hrithik Roshan hated Nepal and Nepalese had sparked off a major controversy last year. Youth in Nepal burnt the actor's effigy and posters of films that had him in the lead. There were riots in Nepal where several innocent people lost their lives, making Hrithik overcome with guilt even though he was not at fault. In a recorded message Hrithik told television news services that he loved Nepal so where was the question of hating it. He also told reporters that the servant who brought him up in all these years was Nepali "so how could I have made such an irresponsible statement". But looks like the wounds are still fresh. Karan Johar's latest mega release Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham found no distributor willing to release the film in Nepal. In fact most of them claimed that films having Hrithik Roshan in the lead might have been banned permanently in Nepal.
