Why is this site boring these days. No good stuffs to read and learn
Mitra Bandhu Posted on 25-Dec-01 08:27 AM

Seems like this kurakani is only interesting and fun when we are discussing people and not the ideas which it's supposed to. I think we Nepalese find pleasure in discussing about people and find their shortcomings - and consequently (and silently) proving that the self is better than other people.
I've noticed that as soon as a person is discussed here, people come out from nowhere and start slamming the person. This person did so and so and what not.
This site is a very good example of a Nepali microcosm. Everyone pulling others' legs.

Well, I don't entirely agree with that.

There have have been some leg-pulling here, but there have been a lot more constructive discussions. Just refer to the threads. Well, the discussions haven't always been very thought-provoking, but ups and downs are part of life.

That said, why don't YOU start some interesting thread? I will be more than happy to chip in :)

I agree with VV, some sophisticated minds and frustrated nepali intellectuals
suffer such thoughts, they keep on complaining peoples
and when time comes talk high funda and sophistacated
things that have no reality and finally ends no where. Instead of
outlining what should be talked and what should not be talked, its
better if you have something in mind that should be talked you better
initiate the topic. Well, you might be afraid of the topic goes
without any follow ups. Sometime, its even worth if it goes
without any follow ups, but, if you stop because you did not get
any follow ups then, you start complaining others indulging
in leg pulling actions. Leg pulling is everywhere, even in Japan.
I can see how the leg pulling is going on with Japanese
Foreign Minister Mrs. Tanaka, just because peoples don't like
a woman to be Foreign minister of male dominated society
of Japan. How she is chased, and ... . . . Leg pulling is
part of human society, and therefore there is a saying
(appeared in SCN) "When you put your foot mark, watch
out the guys with erasors".
