Ram Bdr Thapa was born in Surya Nagar, West Chitwan. Went to Shiva Nagar
School, grew up in the village adjacent to the village of Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and
went to Rampur Campus along with Prachanda.
Rampur Campus was the bastion of student wing of one of the communist parties
of the then Nepal, which can be called the ancestor party of today's Maoist party.
Ram Bdr was a sharp student, and went to Russia for graduate study. But he
came back early. "Ko thulo bhayeko chha Entomology padhere, Shambhu?" he told
his friend Shambhu Kattel, a grad student in Florida A&M after coming back.
He then became underground. After 10 years, he was in central committee of CPN
(Maoists), and became the head of military wing. Purged for his relationship with
the lady who headed the ladies wing of the militant party,he fell from leadership for
a years, before regaining paramount position in his party.

This man will probably define the further direction of CPN(Maoist), I think. Now that CPN(Maoist) has shedded its ideological cocoon.
