RNA foils terrorist attempt to strike Jumla, Kalikot
KATHMANDU, Dec 27 - Royal Nepal Army (RNA) personnel have foiled terrorist attempts to cause heavy damages during their attacks launched in the district headquarters of Jumla and Kalikot districts Thursday night, our latest reports confirm. However, further details of any casualties incurred have not been confirmed so far though the Maoists is said to have suffered heavy losses. more

KATHMANDU, Dec 27 – Latest information have confirmed that the Maoist terrorists numbering hundreds have launched fresh attacks since this evening in Jumla district using some of the sophisticated weapons looted from the army barrack in Dang. Though details remain sketchy, our district correspondent says that there are reports of a police DSP being injured in the attack. The police is said to have taken refuge at an army barrack of a military company headed by an Army Major. (sjs)
