Raghu used to say 'it could have been worse' as comment to anything wrong. When his friends told him something he used to say 'oh, it's just alright. It could have been worse" and Raghu would give an account of what could have been worse. Everybody were familiar with Raghu's habit and would like to hear his justification for worse. Jack lived in Raghu's neighbour. One day, Mr. Jack returned from a long tour to India. Mr. Jack did not inform in advance that his task was finished few days ahead of scheduled time. When he reached home without information, he found his wife was sleeping with his neighbour Pratt. Jack could not control himself, and immediately shot his wife and Pratt with his pistol. He was in jail the other day. Five friends of Raghu gathered at his place after few days. Naturally, pepole started talking about the fate of Jack, his wife and the neighbour Pratt who slept with Jack's wife to be killed on the spot. On this Raghu had his regular comment - 'Oh, thanks god, it could have been worse' Everybody was surprised. What could have been worse Raghu? "Well", Raghu replied, 'Had Jack returned one day ahead, in place of Pratt I would have been killed. You know, I ............"
