Just joking. Anyway, thats good to hear that Nepalis
can offer Kg of free space in .com world.
Well, these days I am a bit cynical towards FREE world,
because this Free offer does not last long. Or, its
free after "you PAY some amount for something"
I mean "Free Offers are usually at the end of
purchase of some packages".
Recently, I was in BOOKoff store and I bought some
GameBoy Soft. for my kids and asked me to get
membership card or asked for some lottery. In
a few days, a post card was sent where it
was written that you were among the top
50 to get Free Offer of a Mobile phone and
50dollar Book coupon. I was so excited and landed
in the counter, when the guy started explaining
his stuffs turing his manuals and catalogs, I asked
him "whether this postcard has meaning?", his
reply was that it has no meaning. The free offer
is valid only if you buy a 200dollar pack of Mobile
Phone where you will get free Mobile Phone set,
and 50dollar equivalent Book purchase coupon.
Thats the story.
Only day before yesterday, there was a TV Program
of 99best epsodes. They showed the similar Free
offer, postcards, where you can travel and stay in
Haway free of charge? But, this free offer is valid
only to those peoples who become membere of the
club at a cost of 10,000dollars. TV peoples found some
crazy guy and he became member of the club. After
he paid the membership fee, he is still waiting for
free trip to Hawai, its already 1.5years since he
was member and waiting to land in Haway "FREE of
Charge".
So, I would like to ask you, is it really free? Just like
Geocities, I mean at the cost of running an Ad. banner?
or its free after we purchase some package? Or, this
free offer will be snatched in a few months "the
terms and conditions can be changed at any time" to
make the home page finally a revenue collecting
method, because peoples will be forced to pay because
they spent so much of time and effort that your
demand will put them in dilemma, to pay or to give
up the effort. So, are you really FREE?
I am asking this question, because FRee for free space
is OK, because Geocities also offer and if you try to
snatch this offer, you will lost number of banners, but,
I am very much NOT sure, whether you will allow
the CGI-BIN access at Free of Charge? Because the
key in web hosting cost is CGI-BIN accessibility, its
the center of making your site static or dynamic i.e.
user responsive and database based.
Would you kindly reply to my querries, where is
the hidden cost we have to pay, and when will this
start? If its really free how and who is going to sponsor
the cost?
