The Nepal United States Educational Network is primarily a forum for exploring
opportunities for higher education in the United States for Nepalese students
back home. The United States is a good place, perhaps the best place, for
continuing your higher education. It is the dream of many Nepalese students to
get accepted into US colleges. But many students do not know how exactly to
do it (even though they may be qualified) and what to expect when they get
here. The NUSEN hopes to bridge that gap and be a medium for providing
information, assistance and guidance about the required procedures, application
steps and first hand tips, advice and experiences regarding the matter and help
in whatever ways it can through its network of volunteer students, professors
and other qualified personnels in the United States as well as in Nepal. The
network aims to facilitate the interaction and information where necessary and
aspires to enhance the education, career and development prospects of Nepalese
students back home as well as in the United States. The network will also foster
communication and sharing of knowledge, opinions and experiences of the
Nepalese students already in the United States. Needles to say, almost
everything is in the web, but it is a junk of myriad related as well as unrelated
resources. Our network strives to present an organized collection of links and
resources regarding Nepalese students and education in the United States. The
network also provides information about various non-profit humanitarian,
educational and other non governmental organizations in Nepal, which would
benefit from foreign assistance and support, as well as from the better endowed
Nepalese people back home and abroad.
