Hi! I am Vermont highschool student who is trying to organise a semester in Nepal to try to understand the culture and do some research into renewable energy sources and environmentaly friendly tourism. I am hoping to come with my step sister (2 years older than me)in January 2002 to May 2002. The only problem so far is that I can't find a place to stay, and my school, my parents, and I don't want me to stay in a hotel. We don't need much, just a place to put our sleeping bags, and a little help getting a bank account together. If you know of anyone (Nepali is preferable, but foreign is fine too)who speaks at least a little english and can take us in, please tell me. We won't be any problem, I guarantee.
