Dallas Mavs. are good but the thing is during the post-season they could suck, lack of defense.to be the best u gotta have the best defense. until now LA Lakers have the best defense.they are loosing because of the transition that's not going their way.guys in NBA any player can shoot the ball, or dunk, or layup when u get a good pass.who had thought the Nets would lead the eastern conf.they are there because of Jason Kidd ,who has this distinct ability to pass the ball to the right guy at the right time.so, Lakers have that ability not w one guy but few others.that's the key thing during the post season.Lakers are undoubtedly the BEST. And KOBE=SHOWBE really rocks the house.

Hi All,

Lakers will be Lakers when it most counts, like David Dupree said. Just give them some time. The Zhen master knows all. I wouldn't bet a dime on any team to dethrone them except the KINGS. SPURS lack passion and there is no team that can match up to Lakers/KINGS in the east. It will be interesting to see the WIZ in the playoffs though. I hope they can make it to the final.

Lakers couldn't measure 76'ers balls ...I see my happiness, slowly creeping back :)

Feiends,
I definetely agree with Cybergal, MAVRICKS will be the best team for NBA playoffs and final too. What about all star westren coach for 2001 Don Delson??? He is the great man and of course MAVRICKS team too.........

Thx

guys u gotta understand the Lakers had game on friday night and they had to leave LA at 6:00 am on saturday in the morning, after 6 hrs tedious flight frm LA and next day back in the court. they r human too and they get Jet-lag like everyone else does and fatigue. So let's see the next game w Magic.by the way Mavs ain't gonaa do any harm to LA becoz they've been beaten so many times and the streak rolls on.

besides celtics (i'm a die hard celtics fan) i like three other teams in nba. fortunately or unfortunately they're all from western conference: sacremanto, dallas and lakers. these three teams are better than any eastern conference teams. unfortunately only one of them will be able to make to the finals against celtics :) hope to see some entertaining basketball between sacremanto and celtics this summer

MAVs will swipe the NBA this season...there is no doubt about that :)
