If your name appears mistakenly or you are booked, please point it out. Young puppies are not (should not be) included here. 1. Mr. Ashu (but after reading his comment that he was listening to NKB's song 40 times, its highly possible that he is booked for good or he could be another Politburo member of FOSLA) 2. Pashchim (he claims he is not booked, according to my sources its a different story). 3. Biswo (?)

I am a Bachelor (most eligible is a judgmental issue) and the Ad Hoc General Secretary of FOSLA. Should I be proud?

Aha - FOSLA - Frustrated One Sided Lover's Association. Wasn't that from ASCOL days? Batch 87-90?

' Top ten ' is definitely a misleading adjective. 'One of the eligibles' is a right term, if you I am in the list. Btw, this FOSLA thing was very nostalgic. I had a couple of friends in Tandi who used to sport the FOSLA T-Shirts. When asked, they vehemently refused it was short for 'FREE ONE SIDED LOVER'S ASSOCIATION' and offerred a very fancy full-form I now no longer remember. A lot of times I joined FOSLA(in spirit, of course). Then suddenly, one day, one posted a notice in Tandi Bazaar: "A speech by FOSLA national president and founder Mr XXX is scheduled in Sri Commerce Campus, Tandi." It was then I started to believe FOSLA was a real organization. Of course, it seems like untold other organizations, it also didn't survive long.

Hey "Top Ten", That NKB song I was listening to for 40-plus times on that one single night is: "Sayaad", which translates as "maybe". Thanks to my younger brother, I have become a huge fan of NKB. So, to answer your question: maybe or maybe not. Who knows!! One neve knows unless one takes risks, hoi na ta? Any romance, as some wise poet has published somewhere, is all about taking a risk with yourself :-), you succeed or you fail or whatever . . . and life just goes on and on. On another note, there was a time -- a long long time ago -- when I was younger, more foolish and heartbroken when NKB that song "dobato" (from Smriti album) could have been an emotional anthem, had I known about the song at the time. Oh well. Then again, resilient that we all are, we all live and learn -- leaving behind our young and foolish selves, and learnng to smile at the past from a distance of time, space and fading memories. oohi ashu ktm, nepal
