WELCOME to hell on wheels. Gizmo-stacked cars travel at the speed of lightning, the dudes at the wheels care a damn about their lives which are hopelessly vacuous anyway, and the women entwined around the sleazy riders are suitably oh-so-casually hip. The film was a surprise hit at the US box-office - obviously for its hard rock music score, cheap thrills and unchecked irreverence.
Anyways, did anybody checked that on DVD recently? It's cool...and worth it. See it, but only if you're in the mood for an uneasy ride with the speed fiends.
