Hello All, Do you buy Nepali Cds/send gifts to Nepal/buy phone cards online? If so what are you missing and what do you think about it?

Ofcourse we do. This question was supposed to ask about 5 years ago. These days everything is online. I have bought lots of Nepali CDs and phone card online from www.dhukuti.com. You can also buy ticket to Nepal from there. They have wide variety of Nepali Cds including nepali films. I don't feel very far from home anymore. Recently they have added south asian grovcery too which I enjoyed very well, specially, for person like me. I live far from big city where you can find lots of Indian store. It's like an hour drive for me to go to Indian store to buy a bag of Basmati rice vs. Dhukuti.com sends right on my doorstep with no shipping charge. Althogh they do have Handling charge flat $4.00. There instant phone card sale is one of the best service. I'd like to see more sites like this. Keep up good work my nepali friends from Dhukuti. SK

Maybe Dhukuti.com can run a formal advertisement here to help out sajha.com as well or make a donation/contributions perhaps.

Dear Dhukuti.com Instead of constantly using different psuedonames (deleting cookies) and constantly reminding the Sajha.com as a playground for free advertizing, I suggest to you sir to help SAN furnish expenses for web-hosting and put a permanent banner on the site. If you continue promoting your website unfairly, time will take its toll and people will start ignoring it. It is mundanely obvious so your denial (I am sure that will follow) will not be worth a penny. I just hope you work out with San on this. Thank you. The Same Sotto Voce

It's very interesting. Few weeks ago when everybody was after Himtel Inc. because they were is bad shape. I posted and said some good word about Himtel. You guys posted and told me that I'm Himtel's chamcha. Now I'm responsing to sombody's question and telling some good word to Dhukuti.com, you're saying that I'm Dhukuti and advertising her. Seems like to me that you guys wants to hear only bad things of everybody like we nepali always did and do. We feel happy about critisizing others. I know lots of people went to school in US and your children are going to school in US. Does any teacher in school teach you to take everything negatively? SK

Yes SK you got that right. We Nepali are so much marinated in cynicism we cannot see any good at all. Our mountain of negativity has risen so fast infront our nose, we see nothing but cynicism. We think we are the best. We think we are so educated we don't need anymore education. If we see someone rises to the top, instead of thinking the hardwork he/she has put to achieve it, we are so quick to point his/her deficiencies. In the World, we Nepali, are known to be gallant, honest, hardworking, simple folks but if curent trend of negativity continues , soon that day wil come, when 'cynical', 'arrogant', will added to that list of adjectives that desribes us.

Ironically, SK seems to have proved his own theory by taking Subha Chintak and Sotto Voce's messages in a negative way! And it's funny how Durcheruwa jumps right in to add to the negativity by agreeing how Nepalese are negative creatures of the dark.... LOL Disclaimer: I don't proclaim anything and I don't agree with you guys in this one

Observator, your posting just proved what I said. Indeed we are cynical aren't we? It will be jolly nice if you explain why don't you agree because otherwise how would I know there is a fallacy in my thinking? Since this is not a poll and since you are not celebrity, just stating ' I don't agree with you guys' statement has a little or no siginificance here. I will love to hear your reasons. Please convince me with your reasons and examples thus help me liberate from this dreadful thinkg that we are cynical.

To me this is more like sharing info rather than advertising... i wouldn't mind knowing about other businesses that provide different services to us. However, it is a different story if SK is the member of Dhukuti and doing advertisement intentionally. If Dhukuti is doing so well, its not a bad idea to put their banner here and help sajha.com Sajha.com is worthy to promote your business... i think
