Dear Daibolicji:

I did not want to continue on the previous thread for several reasons but thought I need to defend myself about being Pokhreli. You seem to know a lot about me and my family. My family moved to Kathmandu in 1980, we were little kids then and went off to boarding school in Kathmandu. Most of our relatives still live in Pokhara and whenever we would get a chance (during long breaks) we would goto Pokhara. Of course not living there all the time we missed knowing all the people. Recently on my trip back to Nepal, I went to my fathers village, ie Sammi and got to know more of my relatives and others as well.

Unfortunately, I do not know you or Haahooji, but if given the chance I can show you my "Pokhreli" credentials. By account of other "Pokhrelis" whom I have known recently, I do not think I will dissapoint. Its just the fate that brought us to Kathmandu and then to the US just like you, but truely I am a Pokhreli at heart. Most of the things I miss about Nepal are about Pokhara.

Please do keep this in mind and since you know me, if we are ever to meet please make sure I know you too. Hahooji, I hope the same with you as well.

If I have offended anyone with this posting, my apologies.
