Hi, Here is one of many great books on Data Mining. "Solving Data Mining Problems Through Pattern Recognition," by Ruby L. Kennedy, Yuchun Lee, Benjamin Van Roy, Christopher D. Reed, and Dr. Richard P. Lippman. Prentice Hall. This book walks you step by step through pattern classification estimation and modeling and shows you a a great deal in employing the most effective algorithm. It incorporates traditional statistics, machine learning and neural networks. I have done some extensive work on neural networking. This book does a very good job on use of neural networks (XOR, Backpropagation and etc....) in Data Mining, I think many computer science students can find it very useful. SMSainju

Thanks for the response so far but I was only looking for cross-section, time series or panel data on Nepal for my paper. Something I can use Statistitical tools on. Doesn't the census office in Nepal publish their data online? Or any other offices?
