dear friends my question is where is udit narayn from??
he got a sweet voice and is among the best singers in bollywood..
i also heard that he is from nepal but some say he is indian>. if he is nepali why does he work or sing in india??
why cant he sing in nepal????????
he sings top songs in bollywood.
i hope on day he comes to nepal one day and sings some dance nepali songs ..
any firends out there know his real identity please tell me .. and whats wrong with manisha koirila?? why doesnt she come in no more hindi films??
did she got kickd out from nepali film cinema???
please answer my questions .

All I can tell you about him is: he's one of the million dollar person but with 2 cents head.
He is from Rajbiraj, Nepal. He went to Ratna Rajya College in Kathmandu. He used to sing lots of nepali songs in Radio Nepal. Madhu Chhetri was one of his buddy.
However, time and bhagya took him to Bollywood. Now he tells everybody everywhere that he's from Nepal.
I'm sorry, I didn't wanted but I have to say that he's Nepal's kaput.

dude, udit narayan used to sing in nepal until last umn...8-9 yrs. he had many nepali hits. u know songs from "kusume rumal?" udit sang those. he later went to india and earned fame there. he occasionally sings songs for nepali movies. but he's so popular in india and makes more money singing in india than in nepal, i guess he decided to settle there.

Why blame Udit alone? Even our Tenzing did the same.
He never sang a Hindi song that touched my heart. But his Nepali songs were
awesome. Even in Lokgeets.
Darpan Chhayaa heri heri naani gayo jobana...
Nakkali he nakkali, hasili he hasili, nakkali gajali....

He has a festering marriage problem in Nepal. He married two girls, both Indian.
The first one was from Bihar, another was Dipa Gahatraj, Air India flight attendant.
Obviously, he liked the later more, and wants to get rid of the first one. Once
India-Today ran an article about him after doing researches on his marriage. The
title was 'Naam Badaa Darshan Chhotaa'(Big Name, small philosophy)

This is not only Udit Narayan but there are lots of successful nepalese abroad who are ashamed to say that they are form Nepal.
For Udit Narayan it is an Obligatory remark to say that he is actually from India , because his professional future depends upon the Indian public not in nepalese.I dont know if it is right or wrong but there are lots of nepalese doing the same thing .

Dear Friends,
Udit Narayan always says he is from Nepal. What's wrong if he is in India and making career there. It is not necessary to stay in Nepal to sing Nepali songs. He always sing Nepali song in cheap price even though he is in Bombay. We Nepali bad mouth at him just out of jealousy. As some arrogant nepali singers could not achieve success they start to say bad things about him.
SK ji, ff god had given that kind of melodious voice, you would have done same thing probably more than that. Come on...dont be hypocrite, SKji.
I wish all the best for Udit Narayan and hope he will get Filmfare award this year.

As he is in India, obviously we missed him, his further natural Lok Geets, Lok Kantha but I laso had heard that he says he is Nepalese and shows Nepalese passport everywhere...If it's true I proud of him wish all the best and pray with God he'll continue coming to Nepal, will be in Nepalese society will be back once.

I think Pushkar Shrestha had some problem with Udit. So , he started using his
media to blackmail him. Well, you know Pushkar Shrestha. He is a rabid nationalist.
Mix him with likes of Ashok Sharma, Krishna Malla and some other jealous singers
of Nepal, and you get a intoxicating amalgam of nationalism used against a
successful singer like Udit. He is wrong in his treatment of Ranju Jha, but using
so called 'Indianness' against Udit is wrong. Nepal is not Pewaa of these freaksome
artists of Kathmandu.

actually guys when udit narayan is in nepal he says he is nepali and when he is in india he says he is indian. his interview was given in one of the nepali magazine. i forgot the name. the reason for him saying that he is from both places is that the village he comes from is close to india and so the language they speak there is not nepali. anyway, i think the reason he chose to live in india is because of the fact that celebrities can hardly survive with the measly amount of money they get for their talent.
