Hotline to the PM

Post Report

KATHMANDU, Feb 1

The government today issued a notice asking the general people to directly register a complaint in the Prime Minister’s
Office if they find any hurdles and troubles from any government office while receiving service.

"If anybody finds troubles while receiving service from a service-rendering government office, they can directly register their
complaint to the Prime Minister’s Office or give a complaint call to 258447 or send a fax to 223838," the notice issued by
the Prime Minister’s Office has said.

The notice has further said the government has taken the move as a bid to ease the government service to the general
people.

This is a good step from Sher Bahadur Deoba with good intension.
But, will it lead to the destination that Deoba has in mind?
I am quite cynical in this regard. Because Deoba is sourrounded
by the peoples who should be first sacked from the jobs.
I will try to contact his office in future when I have trouble, but,
how many times shall I try? Will those complains just to make
us happy that we could drain our anger, will they produce
result? If the results are not the real destination, but, just
illusion, then, this is just another way to cheat peoples.
This just antoher way to linger the public demand for action
against corrupt, and dhila susti lover Nepali govt. officials.
If Deoba could not keep out himself from the corrupts like
Khume, how can I expect his ambition will be fulfilled. I heard
that King Gyanendra returned the adhyadesh file to take action against
those found corrupt after 2058saal, which was an attempt
from Khume, Govinde, Girija ... plus others who have collected
huge money until 2058, will be legalized by this adhyades.
I heard King asked Deoba to write 2046 saal pachi jsale illegal
kamayeko chha s/he will be punished. But, will Girija and his gang
accept this attempt, will Khume support Deoba if its 2046 in the
adhydesh. ... No way. Sher Bahadur is also trying to make his
colleagues earning legal as much as possible, so that he can
remain in the PM post with the support of corrupts like Khume.

No doubt that the prime minister's hotline is just a gimmick. There is nothing to listen to, unless Deuba wants to go end up in a mental hospital. Nevertheless I like it.

Hahooguru, you seem to have interesting knowledge. Just one question. Why Gyanendra asked to take action against corruption done after 2046 ? Why not before 2046 ? Is he really serious about corruption ? Also, does he know where should we start from if we want a clean and state of law where nobody should be above law ? Just some cynicism.
